Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 2026
Kafios AI (kafios.com) is operated by UnknownHorizons s.r.o., a company registered in the Czech Republic (Company ID 23276070). This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies this website uses and why.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) for a few features; this policy covers both.
Strictly necessary cookies and storage
These are required for the website to work — signing in, staying in your language, remembering your cookie choice. They do not track you and are always active.
- kafios_session — a signed cookie that keeps you logged in to your account.
- kafios_lang — remembers the language you browse in (kept for 1 year).
- kafios.adConsent (localStorage) — remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again.
- kafios.pending (sessionStorage) — briefly holds your photo and editing instructions in your own browser while you complete checkout. It is not sent to our servers before payment and is cleared afterwards.
Advertising cookies — only with your consent
If you click “Accept” in the cookie bar, we load the Meta Pixel, a measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, to understand how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram work.
- _fbp — set by the Meta Pixel to identify your browser to Meta (kept for 90 days).
- _fbc — stores the identifier of the Meta ad you clicked to reach this site (kept for 90 days).
With your consent we also send conversion events (for example “trial started” or “subscription paid”) to Meta from our servers, together with these identifiers and a hashed, unreadable version of your email address, so that ad performance can be measured. How Meta processes this data is described in Meta's Privacy Policy at facebook.com/privacy/policy.
If you decline — or simply make no choice — the pixel is never loaded, no advertising cookies are set, and no advertising data is sent, from your browser or from our servers.
Payments and sign-in
Payments happen on Stripe's own checkout pages (stripe.com), which set their own cookies for security and fraud prevention. Signing in with Google on our login page uses Google's sign-in service, which may set its own cookies. Both are governed by those companies' own policies.
Changing your choice
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time — this button forgets your current choice and brings the cookie bar back:
You can also delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
